Transcriptomic Analysis
Transcriptomic analysis focuses on the complete set of RNA transcripts, both coding and non-coding, expressed in a cell or tissue at a given time. In our lab, we apply transcriptomic approaches to study skeletal muscle, satellite cells, muscle regeneration, and muscular dystrophy. Using RNA-Seq and microarray analysis, we investigate gene expression patterns, regulatory pathways, and the roles of mRNAs, miRNAs, and lncRNAs in muscle biology.
Systems Biology
Systems biology applies network analysis and pathway enrichment to uncover the biological mechanisms underlying complex traits and disease resistance. We integrate multi-omics data and reconstruct gene regulatory networks, protein–protein interactions, and ceRNA networks to identify key molecules and pathways driving muscle development and disease progression.
Multi-Omics Integration
Multi-omics integration combines transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics data to provide a holistic view of biological systems. By linking gene expression patterns with protein abundance and metabolic profiles, we uncover molecular networks that drive muscle development, repair, and disease progression — supporting the discovery of novel therapeutic targets.
